This painting by Woollett, a prominent architect in the first half of the 20th Century in Los
Angeles, was obtained from his grandson, Joseph Woollett. Not a rendering but more of a loose
conceptual study of how he envisioned a future Civic Center may look like, with the evolving city in the
background and a stadium having significant placement. Circa 1935.
