Quite an ambitious design for 1926 by the firm of Polhemus & Coffin of Newark, New Jersey. The building as built differs substantially from the original drawing. A new style of skyscraper design started to appear after Hugh Ferris's "Study in Masses" was published and gave architects a new take on the way a skyscraper could be designed.
